Beardsworth specializes in oncology clinical trials. Beardsworth
is experienced in trials evaluating the treatment of solid tumors and
hematological malignancies, as well as trials of various palliative, adjuvant,
and supportive therapies under clinical investigation.
Beardsworth has recently conducted 50 oncology and oncology-related clinical trials.
Beardsworth has designed, managed, monitored, produced accurate datasets, analyzed, and reported on studies in thousands of patients enrolled in hundreds of investigative sites.
Studying the safety and effectiveness of investigational products in cancer patients is challenging -- and Beardsworth loves a good challenge! The patients we enroll are acutely ill. They have complex medical histories; they take numerous medications chronically and in acute situations; they are in-patients; or they may require occasional in-patient hospitalizations; and they sometimes die during study conduct. Our protocols are complex. The case report forms are lengthy -- often 100 to 150 pages per patient. The follow-up is a long-term commitment.
Eighty five percent (85%) of our business comes from repeat clients, and 85% of the trials we conduct are in cancer patients! Our CRAs have an average of 14 years of experience. Many are RNs with critical care nursing experience. Beardsworth is a destination, not a stepping stone for experienced industry professionals!
